Selection inputs
Prepare Inner-Tube or Core Selection Inputs
A product-family name does not establish suitability. Describe the duty before asking for a construction review.
- Name the medium, concentration, phase and cleaning fluid.
- Separate operating, cleaning and ambient temperatures.
- Record normal, peak, vacuum, pulsation and movement conditions.
- State a required compound, PTFE form or metal-core material only when evidence already defines it.
Interface guide
Identify End A and End B
A familiar fitting name can hide a different standard or sealing face. Treat both ends as separate interfaces.
- Record connection type, nominal size and visible markings.
- Identify thread or flange standard when known.
- Photograph the sealing face straight on and from the side.
- Record material requirement, orientation, angle, clocking and mating part.
Measurement guide
Measure Length and Interfaces Without Ambiguity
Label each dimension and its reference points instead of sending one unlabelled number.
- Separate usable or live length from overall length.
- Show where each length starts and ends on a marked photo or drawing.
- Record DN, inner diameter, fitting length, sealing-face dimensions and tolerance.
- Use one unit system consistently and place a ruler or caliper reading in close photos.
Installation guide
Describe the Movement Mode and Geometry
Movement labels are inputs for review, not proof that a construction is suitable.
- State whether the route is static, vibration-driven or repeatedly flexed.
- For metal hose, identify axial, lateral, angular or combined movement direction.
- Show fixed points, offset, bend space, rubbing points and nearby heat.
- Record cycle or frequency information only when known; do not estimate it as fact.
Photo guide
Take Inquiry Photos That Support Identification
Photos can narrow missing details, but they do not prove material, performance, certification or factory capability.
- Take one full assembly and one installed-context photo.
- Take close photos of End A, End B, sealing faces, braid termination and visible core opening.
- Include readable marking and a ruler or caliper reference.
- Remove or cover unrelated personal data and third-party contact details before upload.
RFQ checks
Avoid Common Inquiry Errors
A short inquiry can still be reviewable when it clearly separates known facts from fields that need confirmation.
- Do not omit units or mix DN, inner diameter and thread size.
- Do not give one pressure or temperature without saying whether it is normal, peak, cleaning or ambient.
- Do not use an application name as proof of compatibility.
- Do not assume two similar-looking fittings share a standard or sealing face.
Scope comparison
Compare the Four In-Scope Procurement Paths
Choose the starting page by the uncertain part of the assembly, then confirm the full written specification.
- Rubber-core: focus on compound inputs, pressure cycle, movement and external protection.
- PTFE: focus on medium, cleaning, smooth or convoluted input, conductive requirement and wetted path.
- Corrugated metal: focus on geometry, live length, movement direction, braid termination and weld-zone inputs.
- Fittings and end connections: focus on mating standard, sealing face, dimensions, orientation and joining scope.
